What is microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is done by using crystals, which fall on the surface of the skin under pressure and mechanically remove the surface layer of the skin. This is a completely painless procedure. At the same time, the probe is doing a vacuum massage, which contributes to the efficiency of the skin cleansing, but also improves circulation and lymphatic drainage.
How does microdermabrasion affect the skin? Consider mikrodermabrasion as an ideal peel. It contributes to the renewal of the skin in several ways:

What to do after the treatment?

Microdermabrasion increases skin sensitivity to sunlight, and therefore you should not sunbathe at least 24 hours. In addition, the skin may be sensitive to hot water and perspiration, and therefore you should refrain from intense exercise. To preserve the results of microdermabrasion over a long period of time, you should obey the following rules:
- Use a moisturizing cream during the first week after the treatment
- Don’t use creams and lotions that contain glycolic or lactic acid, and also do not use skrab, a minimum of 72 hours before and after treatment
- Stop using products that contain Retin-A, a minimum of 72 hours before and after the procedure
- Don’t use decorative cosmetics for 24 hours (liquid foundation, blush). Cream and eye shadow can be applied immediately after the procedure.

Microdermabrasion is effective on all skin types, and is especially recommended to those who want to reduce freckles, scars, wrinkles, even out the face complexion, improve the condition of lifeless, gray skin, which is coarsened by the sun. Microdermabrasion is ideal for women with problematic skin, prone to acne, with enlarged pores, small scars.
This treatment is not recommended for people of following groups: with painful burn scars that have not healed, people with undiagnosed open wounds, herpes, warts, pus-filled acne, rosacea, diabetes or autoimmune diseases. In addition, microdermabrasion is not recommended for people with hypersensitive skin.
